About the New Braunfels / Comal Young Republicans
In 2019, a group of 6 young leaders banded together to form the Comal County - New Braunfels Young Republicans (aka NBYR) as a resource for young voters interested in learning more about the Republican Party, meeting candidates and officeholders, and making like-minded friends. Over the past 5 years, we have participated in legislative advocacy in both Austin and Washington, we’ve block walked and phone banked for local, state, and federal candidates, we’ve volunteered around our community, and we’ve educated young voters on the importance of participating in their local government.
At New Braunfels Young Republicans, we believe:
We believe in a free America where we are governed by The People
We believe in limited federal government and states rights
We believe in a free enterprise economy and a free market

We believe that all People are created equal and are entitled to equal rights under the law
