🗳️ Petition to Recognize the New Braunfels Young Republicans
The Future of the Republican Party Is Being Shut Out.
We are the New Braunfels Young Republicans — a growing club of young, conservative voters dedicated to electing Republicans, advancing conservative values, and keeping Comal County red for generations to come.
But we’ve been denied recognition by the Comal County Republican Party.
County Chairman Mark Montgomery has refused to list our club on the official GOP website, despite listing other clubs that are not affiliated with the Republican Party of Texas. His justification doesn’t hold up — and it’s time for the truth.
This isn’t about procedure.
This is about power — and keeping young conservatives out of the room.
Chairman Montgomery has personally said that our club wouldn’t be listed because we have a gay member. When challenged, he claimed it was due to lack of RPT affiliation — a standard that isn’t applied to other clubs like the Canyon Lake Republican Women or the Red Stilettos, neither of which are chartered by the Republican Party of Texas.
We’re not asking for special treatment. We’re demanding fair and equal treatment.
❗ The Stakes Are Too High to Stay Silent
Comal County is surrounded by areas rapidly turning blue. If we continue turning young conservatives away, the future of this Party is at risk.
We are the voters, activists, and leaders of tomorrow. But we are ready to serve today.
✅ What We’re Demanding:
We are calling on the Precinct Chairs of the Comal County Republican Party to take a formal vote:
Should the New Braunfels Young Republicans be officially recognized and included in the County Party’s website, communications, and publications?
We call on every Republican — precinct chair, elected official, SREC member, and voter — to stand with us in demanding this vote and ending this exclusion.
