Our Role In Local Elections
Here at New Braunfels Young Republicans, we have one goal with regards to elections - we want to WIN! We work hard around election cycles to recruit, train, and elect conservative leaders who share our principles, support our generation’s future, and have a strong personal constitution. We also work with young voters, helping to prepare them for what to expect at the polls, who the candidates are, and the impact their individual vote has.
Our election priorities:
Recruit, train, and elect conservative leaders who share our principles and support our generation’s future.
Interview political candidates to understand how their priorities align with ours.
Provide support to endorsed candidates, including, block-walking, phone-banking, mailing postcards, and hosting meet and greets.
Educate young voters on how elections work, who and what they’re voting for, and the value of their individual ballot.
Assist Young Republicans with finding employment on campaigns and in officeholders’ offices.
Working as Election Clerks on Election Day.
The easiest way to get involved is to Join New Braunfels Young Republicans and attend our monthly meetings. Each month, we work on planning our election activities, we meet with candidates, and we discuss our priorities for the next election cycle.
