Candidate Recruitment and Training
The New Braunfels Young Republicans are committed to building the next generation of leaders for our community. We are actively recruiting individuals who are interested in running for public office, including:
Comal County Commissioners Court
Comal ISD Board of Trustees
New Braunfels ISD Board of Trustees
New Braunfels City Council
If you’ve ever considered stepping into public service, this is your opportunity to learn more and get connected. We are currently accepting interest forms and will be hosting Candidate Information Sessions in October and November to help prospective candidates better understand the process and the responsibilities of running for office.
In addition, we provide hands-on training to ensure our candidates are prepared to run successful campaigns. Training topics include:
Campaign Finance – navigating fundraising rules and reporting requirements.
Compliance – understanding election laws and campaign regulations.
Blockwalking Strategies – learning how to effectively connect with voters at the door.
By equipping emerging leaders with the tools, training, and network they need, we aim to strengthen the conservative movement in Comal County and ensure our community continues to be served by principled, effective leadership.

If you think you might be interested in running for office but you aren’t sure which one, fill out the form and we can provide you with a list of the offices you’re eligible to run for based on your address.
Endorsement and Campaign Support Information
New Braunfels Young Republicans PAC can and does endorse Republican candidates in both Primary and General Elections. If you are a candidate and you have already filed a Campaign Treasurer Appointment with either the County Clerk or Texas Ethics Commission and you would like to seek NBYR’s endorsement and volunteers for your campaign, please email Zach Boyer at president@newbraunfelsyr.org.
